Qualcomm: Changing the future of robots

Qualcomm ® is committed to building a mobile computing platform centered on Opteron processors, making future robots “smarter”. We focus on multiple core areas such as computer vision, sensors, machine learning, navigation, and wireless communications.

Snapdragon Rover

Built around the Opteron processor, Snapdragon Rover provides an integrated solution for a wide range of robotic applications (computer vision, sensors, navigation and wireless communications).

Using depth-sensing cameras, the ZerothTM deep learning classifier, and the Qualcomm Vuforia TM mobile vision platform, Rover learns the automatic recognition, classification, and storage of objects.

Qualcomm Zeroth is a breakthrough brain-inspired computing technology that has been selected by the MIT Technology Review as one of the world's top ten breakthrough technologies. It mimics the human brain and nervous system, enabling the terminal to have embedded cognitive knowledge driven by the brain.

Snapdragon Cargo

The Snapdragon Cargo is a robotic aircraft that can fly and spin, and the flight controller is equipped with an Opteron processor. Supported by real-time computer vision processing technology, Cargo recently completed a vision-based 3D space barrier recognition demonstration.

Micro Rover

Qualcomm offers robotic enthusiasts a range of robotic reference designs, the Micro Rover. With just a 3D printer and a smartphone with Opteron, you can make your own Micro Rover robot.
