How to measure resistance?

Resistance measurement:

Use an analog multimeter to test the resistance of the resistor. The general layout is as follows:

1) Place the watch directly in front of the eyes for easy observation.

2) Adjust the table position to the position of Ω. Touch the two tables with a pen, and observe whether the hands are moving. If you do not exercise, you need to check whether the gear is on "Ω" or the connection of the meter and pen is correct.

3) Select the "Ω" position. Common multimeters have gears such as "Rx1", "Rx10", "Rx100", "Rx1K", and "Rx10K". When we choose, we should choose to have the pointer fall within the range of 3-30. When it is less than 3, lower 1st gear, when it is more than 30, increase one gear.

4) Zero. When we start to use and shift the gear, we need to adjust the "Zero" knob on the multimeter to adjust the hand to the "0" scale. This can ensure the accuracy of the multimeter's measurement data.

5) For the measurement of the fixed resistance, the two pens are placed in full contact with the resistors. Read data from the front. The data will be multiplied by the number of stalls to get the resistance of the resistance.

6) For the adjustable resistor, first measure the resistance of the fixed end according to the above method, so that the maximum resistance of the resistor is obtained. Then move a table pen to the moving end of the moving resistor, rotate or move the adjustment knob while observing, pay attention to whether the watch hands continuously change, otherwise it may be the bad contact of the resistor.

Use a digital meter to measure the resistance:

The basic flow is the same as the analog one except that zero adjustment is not required. In addition, its detection gear is different from the analog one, and it requires you to fall into the measurement range more accurately. No matter what type of multimeter is used, we need to pay attention to:

1) When measuring, it cannot happen that the body touches both ends of the resistor at the same time. This can lead to inaccurate measurements, and the greater the resistance, the greater the effect. Think about why?

2) For the resistance on the circuit board, we must first weld one end, and do not take a live measurement.
