Intel X25-E enterprise SSD next month prices

We all look forward to product price cuts, but sometimes there are times when people like us. For example, Intel's X25-E series SSDs for corporate customers will begin to increase in price.

At present, Intel X25-E 32GB is priced around US$380 in North America and US$720 for 64GB. From March 8, the price of the X25-E 32GB will increase by 85 US dollars, while the X25-E 64GB will increase by 170 US dollars, or up to 22.4% and 23.6% respectively.

The reason for the specific price increase is not yet clear. It is estimated that the price of the SLC NAND flash memory chip required by the X25-E series may increase. In contrast, the consumer-grade SSDs X25-M and X18-M series are all using MLC NAND flash memory chips.

As an enterprise-level solid-state storage product, the update of the Intel X25-E is not fast. It is difficult to say when the next generation of new technology products will come. Therefore, it is necessary to start as soon as possible.
