Philips dynamic LED lighting technology provides fans with a first-class viewing experience

Philips Lighting recently announced an agreement with the Sevilla Club of Spain to upgrade its lighting system to Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium, which houses 42,500 spectators. The newly installed ArenaVision stadium lighting system will meet the requirements of the latest international competition organisers and broadcasters, including La Liga's 4K (Ultra HDTV) standard. The mobile stage color lighting fixtures will work with the stadium lighting system and LED display to create spectacular pre-game lighting shows and musical performances. This will greatly enhance the viewing experience and stimulate the different forms of commercial operation of the stadium.

José Castro, president of the Sevilla Club, commented, "The collaboration with Philips Lighting is an important part of the comprehensive renovation of the Ramon Sanchez Piss Juan Stadium in the summer of 2015. It is also upgraded to the top course. An important step. We believe that lighting technology that meets the needs of TV broadcasts is of paramount importance, and we are very pleased that Philips Lighting is able to bring the latest technology to our course."

The new lighting system will be installed this summer to welcome the new season. The Philips ArenaVision lighting system includes 360 sets of Philips ArenaVisionLEDgen2 luminaires and 8 sets of Philips Vari-Lite VL6000 mobile stage color lighting fixtures for entertainment lighting. The entire system is controlled via the Philips NEO Stage Lighting Controller. The system offers the highest quality stadium lighting to meet the latest 4K TV broadcast requirements. The audience can enjoy fine on-site details at home and enjoy super slow motion playback, free from the strobe of traditional lighting systems.

Unlike traditional stadium lighting, which requires a longer warm-up time, the new LED lighting technology gives the club the ability to instantly illuminate the course. You can select some of the course areas to customize the control according to your needs, and connect music and lighting to create exciting pre-shows and concerts. The system can also be operated remotely to save the tedious work of on-site maintenance.

“This system is perfect for Seville. It is the oldest and top team in Spain and the pioneer of new technology. The new stadium lighting system will provide an unprecedented sense of presence for Spanish fans,” Philips Lighting Josep M. Martínez, CEO of Spain and Portugal, said. “It will help the stadium to become the first choice for major international events, and it will not miss the audience demand for watching the broadcast at home. They will appreciate every action of the worshipped players through the 4K Ultra HD screen.”

Philips Lighting will provide extended lighting services to golf course owners. In addition to the 10-year extended warranty for LED floodlights, Philips Lighting will also provide project management and training for the Philips ArenaVision LED system. The training includes scene programming and handover services. Project management, commissioning, training and handover services will also meet entertainment lighting requirements through a five-year one-stop Philips full lifecycle system service management program.

Seville is another club in June 2017 with the new Philips ArenaVision LED stadium lighting system and the Philips VL6000 mobile stage color lighting club. The Ligue 1 Lyon team also chose this combination for its home stadium, Lyon Park Stadium.

Piezoelectric Buzzer For External Drive

The piezoelectric transducers (for External Drive) produce exceptional sound output and efficiency all while meeting each customers unique performance requirements. Piezo transducers are constructed without magnets, instead they create sound mechanically via the piezoelectric effect. Our piezo transducers are not equipped with a built in drive circuit. This provides our customers with the flexibility of designing their own circuitry to meet their specific needs. The advantage of using an external drive circuit is that the piezo transducers can output sounds at multiple frequencies. Full bridge circuits ramp up SPL for more peak-to-peak voltage, making our piezo transducers a high output solution.
