China Industrial Internet of Things Scale Development Forecast
Industrial Internet of Things is the application of the Internet of Things in the industrial field. The development of China's Internet of Things has initially possessed a certain technology, industry and application basis, showing a good development trend. According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in 2014, the sales revenue of the entire Internet of Things in China reached more than 600 billion yuan. CCID Consulting predicts that by 2020, the overall size of China's Internet of Things is expected to exceed 1.8 trillion yuan (Figure 1).

In 2014, the scale of China's industrial Internet of Things reached 115.73 billion yuan (Figure 2), accounting for about 18% of the overall Internet of Things industry. CCID Consulting predicts that by the policy push and demand, by 2020, the industrial Internet of Things will account for 25% of the overall IoT industry, and the scale will exceed 450 billion yuan.
