LED smart ** lighting system

Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. uses the LED intelligent hospital lighting system at the new hospital of Saitama Prefectural Cancer Center. Its purpose is to realize lighting that meets the circadian rhythm (circadian rhythm) and to achieve energy saving by controlling the LED.

The smart hospital lighting system achieves daylight and night lighting by using wireless switches and lighting control devices that can send signals without batteries. The circadian rhythm refers to the circadian rhythm that changes in about 24 hours. The lighting system divides one day into five periods, and uses LED lighting to perform day and night changes, keeping the life cycle of inpatients, etc., stable.

The LED lighting control helps to achieve energy savings. The simulation results before the use show that compared to LED lighting without control and the same output power, energy can be reduced by up to 30%. Thanks to wireless communication technology, there is no need for a communication line, control can be performed at a remote location, and layout changes can be easily handled.

Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will apply the data obtained through this actual use to future applications and settings, and will verify the construction of hospitals equipped with intelligent lighting systems and the light environment, and strive to provide more reasonable light space. Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will also use the smart hospital lighting system to easily change the characteristics of the layout. In addition to the newly-built hospitals, the system will also be used in hospitals that implement reconstruction projects.
