Grounding Method:

The grounding wire should be connected to the grounding pile embedded in the foundation pit of the weighing instrument. This method is similar to using a copper rod. Once the pit is completed, the grounding conductor must be properly connected to the grounding pile. If the grounding pile is covered with concrete during construction, it's important to ensure that the grounding wire is securely attached before the concrete is poured. Otherwise, if the wire is buried inside the concrete, it may corrode over time, leading to an ineffective connection. A more effective approach is to weld the grounding piles using steel bars before the concrete is set.

When setting up the grounding system, the distance between grounding points in the weighing system should be no less than 3 meters. When driving the grounding rods vertically into the ground, the depth should not be less than 2 meters, ideally around 3 meters. For horizontal installation, the burial depth should be at least 0.7 meters. The grounding body must be galvanized or copper-plated, and painting is strictly prohibited. A copper wire with a cross-sectional area of at least 25 square millimeters is recommended, and its resistance should be no more than 1 ohm. After installation, the overall grounding resistance should be less than 4 ohms.
