The TOP10 selection of the 2nd China LED Enterprise International Competitiveness was officially launched in Foshan, Guangdong on the 6th. Yu Shirong, director of the Guangdong Semiconductor Lighting Industry Joint Innovation Center, revealed at the press conference that after the implementation of the national “Belt and Road†war, in 2015, China’s LED lighting export “Belt and Road†market was about 10 billion US dollars, up 43% year-on-year. According to statistics, there are more than 35,000 LED companies in China. More than 8,200 enterprises above designated size. Among them, Guangdong has more than 4,200 LED-scale enterprises, accounting for more than half of the country, reaching 51%.
In recent years, Guangdong has identified nine strategic emerging industries, including LED and high-end new electronic information, new energy vehicles, biology, high-end equipment manufacturing, energy conservation and environmental protection, new energy, new materials and e-commerce.

Yan Shirong expects that with the implementation of the National One Belt and One Road strategy, the export growth rate of the Belt and Road Initiative will be higher than the overall export level of LED lighting products in the country. From 2013 to 2020, the average annual growth rate will be about 58%. By 2020, China's LED lighting will be exported. The product export belt is about 53 billion US dollars, accounting for more than 50% of the national total.
