On December 1, the grand opening ceremony of Nanchang Yimei Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. took place in the park where the company is located. The event was attended by several high-ranking officials from the Nanchang High-tech Zone, including Jiang Mingcheng, Deputy Director of the Jiangxi Provincial Industry and Information Committee, Deputy Director of the Jiangxi Provincial Finance Department, Zhong Xinping, Deputy Mayor of Nanchang City, and Liu Dehui, Mayor of the Nanchang High-tech Management Committee, who all delivered speeches.

On June 30, 2017, under the guidance of Governor Liu Qi, Nanchang City Secretary Yin Meigen, and Mayor Guo An, Yimeixinguang (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. invested a total of 2 billion yuan in a high-quality LED device module project. A contract was signed with the Nanchang High-tech Zone, leading to the establishment of Nanchang Yimei Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd.
The first phase of the project will involve building 300 LED packaging lines and 36 patch lines, with an annual output value exceeding 1.5 billion yuan. At the ceremony, Dr. Fan Zhencan, Chairman of Nanchang Yimei Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., announced that the first batch of 100 packaging lines had already started production, thanks to the strong support from the Nanchang Municipal Committee, Municipal Government, and Nanchang High-tech Zone. He also mentioned that the company's settlement in the Nanchang High-tech Zone marked another significant achievement in the Nanchang Optics Valley LED Global Partner Program. Dr. Wang Min, Chairman of the Jiangxi Semiconductor Lighting Industry Alliance, expressed his warm welcome to Yimei Optoelectronics during his speech.
More than 100 attendees, including representatives from provincial and city-level departments, investors, suppliers, and customers, were present at the opening ceremony.
