Urban Road Lighting Reconstruction Design in Tongxiang City

1 Introduction

Tongxiang City is located in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, in the north of Zhejiang Province. The project design is planned and reconstructed for road lighting in Tongxiang City. In the field investigation phase, the current road brightness was measured using the "SM Light Environment Test System". In the analysis and research stage, the lighting design software “DIALux” was used to simulate and compare the transformation before and after the transformation. Under the premise of fully considering the implementation, the transformation opinions and specific methods were obtained, and the transformation project was more scientific.

2 Previous research

2.1 Status

The main trunk roads in Tongxiang City are: Second Ring Road, Huancheng Road, Zhongshan Road, Zhenxing Road, Qingfeng Road, Century Avenue, and so on. Through the on-site instrument measurement of the night lighting conditions of Tongxiang urban roads, and through the professional software for data analysis, the average brightness is obtained, and suggestions and suggestions for improvement that do not meet the national lighting standards are proposed. The main road road range, red line width, average brightness, and existing light source are listed below (see Table 1):

According to the data of the above test, it can be seen that the average brightness value of each road in Tongxiang City is generally low, the road night light is dim, can not meet the traffic requirements well, and the urban road network is not clear enough. The "City Road Lighting Design Standards" CJJ45-2006 stipulates that the average brightness of the trunk roads of small and medium-sized cities should reach 1.5 cd/m2. The typical road revitalization road is taken as the simulation object, and the status of Zhenxing Road is passed through the "SM Light Environment Test System". The photo was subjected to brightness analysis (see Fig. 1), and the average luminance was 1.2 cd/m2, which was lower than the standard value, and there was glare on the road.

2.2 There is a problem

1 In the survey, it was found that the brightness of urban roads in Tongxiang was generally low due to the long construction time and untimely maintenance. Therefore, in the subsequent planning, we will propose corresponding transformation suggestions for the main factors affecting the road surface brightness.

2 Glare is a prominent problem in the road lighting in the central area of ​​Tongxiang. The high pole lights on several main intersections and squares in the central area of ​​the city are the main factors for glare. Glare is a visual condition in the field of view due to unsuitable brightness distribution, or extreme brightness contrast in space or time, resulting in visual discomfort and reduced object visibility. Therefore, it will bring nighttime discomfort and potential traffic hazards.

3 Partial trees block the light and reduce the light efficiency.

In addition, there are more and more nighttime light box advertisements and light signs in Tongxiang City, and it is necessary to fully understand the negative impacts and harms caused by light pollution. First of all, it is necessary to avoid the glare of the light box advertisement, control the glare of the lamp, minimize the light pollution, and secondly avoid the waste of the corresponding electric energy, and ensure the green, energy-saving and safety requirements of the road lighting.

3 Road lighting renovation method

Along with the rapid development of Tongxiang's economy, urban night lighting construction should meet the night lighting needs of urban roads. Through reasonable, systematic and perfect lighting planning, the current urban roads are generally low in brightness and glare on local roads. It is necessary to reduce the obstruction of trees by lights, improve light efficiency, meet the lighting needs of people's night life, and ensure people's safety at night. Through the investigation of the current situation of road lighting in Tongxiang City, we have determined the following basic principles to transform the road lighting in Tongxiang City:
