Avago's new line of low-power, high-brightness, high-brightness, light-emitting diode (LED) products for both portable and solar-powered outdoor electronic signage and signal applications, available in red and amber Red-orange selection, Avago's new HLMP-Exxx series of 5 mm AllnGaP LEDs are highly reliable and offer high illumination at low forward voltages, meeting the needs of design engineers who require low-power lighting solutions.
Typical applications for the HLMP-Exxx series of 5 mm AllnGaP LEDs include outdoor portable commercial full color or monochrome logos and marquees, scoreboards and traffic management numbers, such as pedestrian signals and construction site warning lights, etc. It is also quite suitable for use in solar powered, variable content or stereo letters. HLMP-Exxx LEDs are quite competitively priced, and are available in a colorless, non-diffusing T 1-3/4 package to provide a precisely designed illumination pattern for a specific viewing angle for superior readability in sunlight. These LEDs with precise optical performance also provide excellent brightness output with consistently reliable quality.
