Mitsubishi Electric Corporation plans to launch an improved total heat exchanger

According to reports from Japanese media, Japan's Mitsubishi Electric Corporation has completely improved the total heat exchange ventilation equipment “Commercial LOSSNAY (hanging ceiling type)” that can reduce the air-conditioning load on office buildings, etc., and will start selling on June 25th. It is planned to produce 30,000 units a year.

It is reported that the working principle of LOSSNAY is to use a heat exchanger to recover indoor hot air from the exhaust gas and return it to the intake air, so as to reduce the air conditioning load through ventilation. In the past LOSSNAY products, the conditions for the start-up of outdoor air-to-air cooling equipment at night were the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor was 5°C, and the operating time was from 1:00 to 6:00, and could not be changed. With the improved new product, the conditions for the start of operation of the outdoor air-conditioned air-conditioning equipment at night are the temperature difference between 0°C and 7°C, and the temperature difference and operation time can be freely set. Compared with previous products, it can reduce air-conditioning costs by about 7%. Outside night air-conditioned equipment refers to sending outdoor air with a lower temperature during the night in the summer to the interior, thereby reducing the cooling load of air-conditioning the next morning.

In addition, previous products can only detect temperature, and the new product also increases the ability to detect humidity. In the summer, outdoor air with low humidity can be sent into the room, and outdoor air with high humidity can be sent into the room in the winter. This helps to maximize the body temperature of the human body while supporting the energy saving and long-distance turn of the air conditioner.

The new product is also equipped with a timer function, which can be set to start or stop the operation according to the day and time, adjust the air volume, and control the air volume according to the number of rooms. Also has a weak air flow operation function. Compared with previous products, the cost of cooling and heating can be reduced by about 40% (approximately 22,000 yen). In addition, the ventilation and air supply performance has been improved, and the exhaust air duct has been stretched by about 6m for easy installation.
