The Chinese Academy of Sciences has achieved a new breakthrough in high-power LED cooling

[High-tech LED News] Around the urgent need for high-power high-density LED heat dissipation, the Institute of Physics and Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences recently proposed a breakthrough LED liquid metal heat dissipation technology concept, and in the corresponding theoretical analysis, experimental research and even the development of new materials and devices. The industrial prototype of liquid metal radiator developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences for 200 watt LEDs ensures that the maximum temperature of the back of the substrate is less than 45 °C when the LED light source is operating at full load at room temperature. The thermal test of the 200~900 watt power device by the laboratory shows that the liquid metal heat dissipation technology has the fast and efficient heat transport capacity, which shows the advantages of stable and reliable, low energy consumption and many other leading traditional heat dissipation methods, and is expected to become high-end.
