Stadium lighting analysis and its lighting arrangement

Sports lighting plays an important role in sports architecture. The addition of TV broadcasts highlights the importance of sports lighting. Stadiums should be designed according to the functions and TV broadcast requirements, including venue lighting, auditorium lighting and emergency lighting. Use the following table to classify the stadium:

Regulations:
1. The average horizontal illumination when TV is broadcasted should be 0.75~2.0 of the average vertical illumination;
2. The maintenance coefficient value should be 0.8 when calculating the lighting, and the value of the outdoor stadium maintenance coefficient for the foggy and polluted areas can be reduced to 0.7;
3. When HDTV broadcasts a major international competition, the vertical illumination of the auxiliary camera direction shall be the illumination on the vertical plane facing the four directions around the site;
4. The horizontal illuminance and vertical illuminance uniform gradient should meet the following requirements:
(1) When there is television broadcast: When the illumination calculation and measurement grid is less than 5m, it should not exceed 10% every 2m. When the illumination calculation and measurement grid is not less than 5m, it should not exceed 20% every 4m;
(2) When there is no TV broadcast: no more than 50% per 5m;
5. The ratio of the minimum vertical illuminance to the maximum vertical illuminance in each of the four points of the calculation site should not be less than 0.3. When HDTV broadcasts a major international competition, the ratio should not be less than 0.6;
6. The average illuminance value of the seat surface of the auditorium should not be less than 100lx. The average illuminance value of the chairman's countertop should not be less than 200lx. When there is a TV broadcast, the vertical illuminance value of the front row of the auditorium should not be less than 258% of the vertical illuminance value of the venue;
7. The average illuminance value of the safety lighting of the auditorium and sports ground should not be less than 20lx;
8. The minimum illumination value of the evacuation lighting of the stadium exit and its passage shall not be less than 5lx.

First, the football field lighting layout
1. When there is no TV broadcast, it is advisable to adopt the layout of the two sides of the venue or the four corners of the venue:
(1) When adopting the layout on both sides of the site, the lamps should not be placed within 10° of the center point of the goal along the sides of the bottom line. The distance between the bottom of the pole and the edge of the site should not be less than 4m. The angle φ between the vertical line of the center line and the plane of the field should not be less than 25° (see Figure 1).
(2) When adopting the four-corner arrangement of the site, the angle between the line connecting the bottom of the pole to the midpoint of the site and the edge of the site should not be less than 5°, and the line between the bottom of the pole and the bottom line of the bottom of the pole is between the bottom line and the bottom line. The angle should not be less than 10°, and the height of the luminaire should be such that the angle between the line connecting the center of the lamp to the center of the field and the plane of the field should not be less than 25° (see Figure 2).
2. When there is a TV broadcast, it is advisable to use the two sides of the venue, the four corners of the venue or the mixed arrangement:
(1) When adopting the arrangement on both sides of the site, the luminaire should not be placed within the range of 15° on both sides of the bottom line at the center point of the goal (see Figure 3).

(2) When adopting the four-corner arrangement of the site, the angle between the line connecting the bottom of the pole to the midpoint of the site and the edge of the site should not be less than 5°, and the line between the bottom of the pole and the bottom line of the bottom of the pole is between the bottom line and the bottom line. The angle should not be less than 15°, and the height of the luminaire should be such that the angle between the line connecting the center of the lamp to the center of the field and the plane of the field should not be less than 25° (see Figure 4).
Second, the tennis court lighting arrangement
1. For tennis courts with no or only a small number of auditoriums, the arrangement of the poles on both sides should be adopted. The poles should be arranged on the back side of the auditorium; there should be more auditoriums, higher picks and no poles. For tennis courts, it is advisable to use a light belt arrangement on both sides;
2. When using the lamp pole arrangement on both sides, the position of the pole should meet the requirements of Figure 5:
3. The installation height of the luminaire should meet the requirements of Figure 6. The height of the luminaires at the competition venue should not be less than 12m, and the height of the luminaires at the training venue should not be less than 8m.
Third, the hockey stadium lighting layout
1. When there is no TV broadcast, multi-pole arrangement should be adopted. The distance between the bottom of the pole and the edge of the site should not be less than 4m. The distance between the bottom of the pole and the bottom line should not be less than 5m. The height of the fixture should meet the requirements of Figure 7:
2. When there is a TV broadcast, it should be arranged in four corners, arranged on both sides or in a mixed arrangement.
When adopting the four-corner arrangement, the position and height of the luminaire shall meet the requirements of Figure 8. The position of the lamp post shall be between 10 ° and 25 °; when the arrangement on both sides is adopted, the height of the luminaire shall satisfy φ not less than 25 °. Claim.
Fourth, the bar and the soft court lighting arrangement
1. The baseball field lighting should adopt 6 or 8 light poles. The softball course should adopt no less than 4 light poles. It can also be installed on the horse track above the auditorium.
2. The pole should be located outside the main viewing angle of 20° in the four barrier zones. The pole should not be placed in the shaded area in Figure 9:
Indoor stadium lighting arrangement
1. The lighting arrangement of indoor gymnasium should meet the following requirements:
1. The top arrangement should use the luminaire for forming light distribution. It is suitable for gymnasiums that mainly use low space, have high requirements for uniformity of ground horizontal illumination, and have no TV broadcast requirements. The lamps can be arranged according to Figure 10:
2, the two sides should be arranged with asymmetric light distribution lamps arranged on the horse track, the use of stadiums with higher vertical illumination requirements and TV broadcast requirements. When arranged on both sides, the aiming angle of the luminaire (the angle between the aiming direction of the luminaire and the vertical line) should not exceed 65° (see Figure 11). 3. The mixing arrangement should use lamps with multiple light distribution forms, suitable for large-scale comprehensive gymnasiums. The layout of the luminaires is shown in the top layout and on both sides. The luminaires can be arranged as shown in Figure 13:
4. Indirect lighting fixtures should be equipped with lamps with medium and wide beam light distribution. It is suitable for building spaces with low layer height, large span and good roof reflection conditions. It is also suitable for strict glare limitation and no TV broadcast requirements. The stadium; not suitable for use with suspended luminaires and installations of horse-drawn structures. The luminaires can be arranged as shown in Figure 12.
