On December 18th, by the end of this month, the first unmanned metro Beijing subway Yanfang line with fully independent intellectual property rights and fully automatic operation in the mainland of China will be officially operational at the end of this month!

According to CCTV news reports, compared with other subway lines in Beijing, the operation of the train is completely controlled by the remote “control center”, the so-called “unmanned”. The driver does not need to do any operation and mainly monitors the conditions of the meter and the line.

In addition, the electronic map in the Yanfang line subway carriage is LED display. The lighting system automatically adjusts the brightness as the outside environment changes, and the air conditioning temperature can also be remotely adjusted in the control center.

After drone driving, the operation time of the train arrives at the station is extremely short, and the running time is much shorter than the manual driving. Each station saves about 15 seconds.

In 2010, China put forward the idea of ​​a fully automated running rail transit system based on high RAMS, which indicates that China's self-developed rail transit fully automated operation system has officially entered the research stage. This idea has been put forward, conforms to the national strategic needs such as “Made in China 2025”, learns from the driverless deep learning technology of the automobile and leads the development direction of international rail transit technology. After six years of hard work, the core technology research and development of the fully automated operation system has been completed and will be used for the first demonstration of the Beijing Metro Yanhuang Line. This is also the first national demonstration project of the fully automated operation system in China.

According to the plan of Beijing, fully automated operation system technology will be used for the construction of new rail transit lines such as lines 3, 12, 17, and 19 as well as the new airport line. This technology is a qualitative leap in urban rail transit system integration technology and is the future development direction of urban rail transit train operation control system. Its promotion and application will greatly enhance the status and influence of China's rail transit in the world, making China's important infrastructure safe and controllable.
