Joint soldering tips for electronic components

When the soldering feet of the electronic components of the printing equipment or the main control electrical components are loose or there is a virtual soldering or a wire head falling off, the electronic circuit or the main control circuit where it is located is prone to failure, often causing the machine to not run or run out of control, etc. Lead to series failures, damage to electronic components, etc.

The joints of electronic components are mostly fixed by welding. Welding is required for repair, but soldering irons are used to repair transistors, electrolytic capacitors, dielectric capacitors, lock switches, etc., and their durability and flexibility are poor after repair.

Analyze the reasons

After inspection, the quality of the components themselves is good, and the circuit in which they are located is also normal, so it can only be a problem in the welding process. After careful observation, it was found that the soldering of the damaged metal, electrolytic capacitor, lock switch and other components between the metal legs and the main body was not tight and loose. This is mainly caused by too much heat received by the components during soldering, especially for components with short transistor metal solder fillets, which have a faster heat transfer process.

It seems that the problem is to slow the heat transfer rate of the metal feet of electronic components. Therefore, we have adopted a method of assisting heat dissipation and achieved good results. The method of operation is as follows: When welding electronic components, the metal feet of the components are clamped by a small-sized needle-nosed pliers for rapid welding. In this way, the heat received by the metal component of the electronic component is quickly transmitted by the needle-nosed pliers, so that the heat is not quickly transmitted to the inside of the component, thereby avoiding internal damage of the component and achieving the purpose of assisting heat dissipation. If the metal feet of the electrical components are very short and it is not convenient for the needle-nosed pliers auxiliary clips, the use of a suitable flat copper wire can also achieve the effect of auxiliary heat dissipation.

The electronic components welded and repaired by the above method have good effects and do not cause any side effects in production.
